Hello! I am Chun-shek Chan, a graduate student of broadcast journalism in Boston. I am currently looking for production and reporting internships at television stations across the United States.
I can write, report, shoot, and edit stories for television news. I am skilled in both linear and non-linear video editing, digital audio editing, sound engineering, and video photography. In the studio, I can operate cameras, teleprompters, chyron generators, sound boards, and video switchers. I can produce professional on-screen and over-the-shoulder graphics for newscasts. In addition, I have experience in directing the local access news in Boston.
I have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, and can speak five languages. I have also previously worked as a police dispatcher and an EMS first responder, and consider myself to be a resourceful person in the newsroom environment.
